Chunky Sourdough Granola

Use your sourdough discard to make healthy & delicious  Chunky Sourdough Granola.  Adapt it with the ingredients you have on hand.

– rolled oats – chopped pecans – pumpkin seeds  – brown sugar – cinnamon – salt – sourdough discard  – maple syrup  – vegetable oil – vanilla extract – dried cranberries


Combine the sourdough discard with  oil and maple syrup.

Combine the oats, nuts, seeds, sugar and spices in a large bowl.

Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients then spread the granola onto a sheet pan.

Bake until the granola is golden brown and crisp.

When the granola is completely cooled, break it into large chunks.

Toss the dried cranberries into the granola.
