Pumpkin   Scones 

Baking Sense

Lightly spiced Pumpkin Scones are perfect for breakfast, brunch, tea or snack time. Candied-pumpkin-seed topping is a perfect indulgent finish.

– pumpkin seeds – granulated sugar – maple syrup – butter  – all purpose flour  – baking powder – cinnamon, ginger, cloves,     nutmeg, salt – pumpkin puree  – buttermilk – vanilla & lemon extract – egg

Ingredients

– Whisk together the dry     ingredients. – Whisk together the     wet ingredients.

– Use your fingers to squash    the cubes into flakes of    butter. – Add the wet ingredients to    the dry ingredients. Use a    spatula to combine the two.

– Form the dough into a round and    cut into 8 scones.

– Brush the scones with buttermilk    and top with pumpkin seeds.  – Bake!
