Galette des Rois (three kings cake)

Galette des Rois, aka Three Kings Cake, is made with layers of buttery puff pastry encasing a luscious almond frangipane filling..

–puff pastry –granulated sugar –unsalted butter –salt –eggs  –almond flour  –almond extract  –vanilla extract –dark rum –candied cherry

Ingredients

Roll each half of the dough to a square then cut to a round. Chill for at least 30 minutes.

Make the frangipane filling and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Spread the filling on the dough, add the feve, Put the top on the galette.

Score the dough and chill before baking.

The person who finds the "feve" is king for the day.
