Chocolate Ganache Cake

Chocolate Ganache Cake! Chocoholics, this one is for you. Super-dark & moist chocolate cake layers are filled & iced with light & luscious whipped chocolate ganache.

– Dutch process cocoa  – cake flour – baking powder – salt – oil  – eggs – milk  – vanilla extract – granulated sugar  – semi-sweet chocolate – heavy cream


– Pour boiling water over the cocoa powder and whisk until smooth. – Sift together the dry ingredients.

Mix the eggs, oil and sugar. Add the flour and cocoa.

Divide the batter between two 8"x3" pans and bake.

Pour scalding cream over the chocolate and stir to combine.

Whip the ganache and use it to fill and ice the chocolate cake layers.
